Trentham Gardens Visit 15.5.23
We had a wonderful visit today to Trentham Gardens as part of this term's theme on 'Secret Gardens.' It was wonderful to see a garden designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown who we are looking at in History. We admired the symmetry in the Italian Gardens, completed the Barefoot Walk, found our way around the maze and walked around the lake. As we were walking around the lake we spotted lots of wildlife including some beautiful black swans and a family of geese. In the sensory garden we even managed to find the door into the 'Secret Garden!' The weather was kind to us and we spent an enjoyable day admiring all the beautiful flowers and trees planted there. We are now looking forward to creating some lovely pieces of writing around our visit.
