Art Morning with Rob Leckey 4.11.21
We spent a most enjoyable morning working with local artist Rob Leckey to create paintings based on The Gare Saint Lazare in the style of Claude Monet. We looked at painting using different tools as well as paintbrushes including rollers, blocks of wood, old plastic cards and sponges. We also added paper to form a collage to show the outlines of the station and the steam trains in the the station. The children worked with a partner to create their painting and are looking forward to displaying them in the classroom as part of our current theme of 'On the Move.' We would like to thank Mr Leckey and his wife for a fun and informative morning.
