Pedestrian Training
Today we welcomed Diane Jeggo from Travel Telford into our class to teach us the important life skill of road safety and how to safely cross the road. We learned the Green Cross Code : Stop, Look, Listen, Think, we learned about the importance of wearing bright colours to be seen, when and where we needed to hold our adult's hand, how far to safely stand on the kerb to cross and to remember when walking on the pavements ' children on the right, adults near the road.' We then had the opportunity to put this into practise on a walk around the village. Mrs McCormick was so proud of all of us and we all agreed it had been a fun but vitally important day with a message we will remember for ever to keep ourselves safe.
