Spellings
In order to reduce the amount of items that are transitioning between home and school, I have decided to not send spellings home on a weekly basis. Instead the children will be completing spelling sheets on a daily basis in school as part of their first activities session. Every day we focus on practising one of these words and this is applied into an independent sentence by your son/daughter. On a Friday we shall have a spelling test for the four focus words, with an additional two spellings that will be phonetically decodable.
