Great Fire of London Bucket Challenge
As part of our work in history on The great Fire of London we challenged Year One to a race to see who could put 'the fire' out first. We passed a bucket of water along our class line just as people would have done in The Great Fire, passing buckets of water from the Thames along a line of people to help extinguish the fire. We shouted 'Fire Fire!' , 'Pass the Bucket!' and 'London's Burning' as we waited for the bucket. We did this at the same time as Year One to see who could pass the bucket the quickest. As you can see from the video it was a close run thing!
