Phonics
Today in Phonics I would like you to focus on re-capping your split-digraphs skills. Please start the session by watching the videos with Geraldine the Giraffe. In the video Mr. Thorne says "coded with the letters 'a' and 'e'" and what he really means is that the split-digraph /a-e/ is spelt with the two letters 'a' and 'e'.
After watching the videos please have a go at the provided challenges.
Double Literacy - Something about a Bear.
The lesson for today can be found on Seesaw. Please contact me if you are struggling to access this learning platform.
Below you can find the resource sheets for the lesson.
Physical Education
As the weather forecast does not look great for today, I have chosen a selection of indoor activities that you might like to have a go at. If you are happy to brave the weather then you might like to go on a short walk to get some fresh air.
Additional activity - Art
As our new Science topic is all about 'Animals including Humans', Miss R-S thought it would be good fun to draw one of her favourite birds.....a Puffin! Follow the steps in Rob Biddulph's video and share your creations with Miss R-S on Seesaw or via email.
