Making our Shields
As part of our history topic on The Normans we have enjoyed designing and making shields in Design Technology. We chose whether we wanted an Anglo Saxon or a Norman shield as that determined our shape. We then designed the front and back of the shield and chose which type of fold to use to attach the handle and with what joining material. After we made our shields we evaluated them.
