The Children's Country House and Museum Sudbury
We had a fabulous time today visiting the museum as part of the work we are covering in History on Toys Now and Then. We explored the museum looking at toys from the past and toys we play with today. We looked at being history detectives and working out how to put a selection of toys on a timeline starting with the oldest to the newest. We looked at clues to use to determine how we could tell if something was old e.g. the material it was made from, the appearance and the way it was made. We also looked out for toys we owned or played with. It was a fun and informative day and we are looking forward to using the knowledge gained from today in our future learning.
