Lilleshall Primary School

Working Together for Excellence and Enjoyment

Pupil & Parent Voice

KS1 and KS2 Pupil Voice

Pupils in KS1 and KS2 are able to elect two representatives to be on the school council. Pupils are then asked to share ideas that can be implemented within the school. Mrs Pryce and Mrs Wassall have regular school council meetings with the children. As part of lesson observations and learning walks Senior Leader and Subject Leaders will meet with groups of pupils, including SEND pupils, to gain an understanding of what works well for them and how provision could be improved further.

Parents Voice

Parents are regularly informed of events within school through newsletters and the website. Parents of SEND pupils are also invited to complete questionnaires regarding the provision and progress of their child so that school can evaluate its practice and identify next steps. Parents of pupils with Pupil Passport are invited into school termly to meet with the class teacher to discuss attainment, progress and provision for their child. This enable us to work closely together and have a clear understanding of the pupils needs at school and at home. School also operates an open door policy so parents can drop in and see the headteacher to discuss any concerns or queries.

We welcome parents to meet with or ring the SENCO to discuss anything regarding their child. Please contact Mrs Savill regarding anything connected to SEND.
