Governor by virtue of post
"I have been a resident of Lilleshall village for over 30 years with both my children (both now well grown up) attending the school. I was a Parish councillor for eight years and am still a member of the Lilleshall Memorial Hall Management Committee. A good primary school education is, I feel, vital for children’s continuous progress into the challenging world beyond the school gates. Although now retired I spent thirty five years in the cycle industry, the last 21 running my own business. I believe this experience can be put to good use within the school".

I have been a Governor at Lilleshall since Novermber 2010 initially as a parent governor and now as a community governor. Both my children attended Lilleshall Primary School and they both thoroughly enjoyed their time there. I am currently the SENCo at an 11-18 school in Kidderminster and I previously taught PE at two schools in Dudley. My role at Lilleshall includes being the Link Governor for vulnerable groups and PE.
Ravinder Verma joined the Governing Body in October 2013. Mr Verma is the Vice Chair of Governors. He is chair of the Finance, Health and Safety Committee and also sits on the committee for Behaviour, Achievement and Progress. He is the link governor for Reading and monitors and evaluates this area of the curriculum to ensure high standards are maintained. Having moved to Muxton in 2013, he has been involved in the school since his two sons started to attend Lilleshall Primary School. I believe a good primary education provides a solid foundation on which to build a child’s education and helps prepare them for a life beyond school.
