I sit on the Behaviour, Achievement and Progress Committee and am the link Governor for the Foundation Stage, where I work closely with Mrs Savill.   I am a qualified Nurse and Teacher and am an Associate Dean with Staffordshire University. My role in higher education enables me to value the learning given to pupils at this school in preparing them so well for their continuing education and lifelong learning.

Mr R Verma - Vice Chair of Governors

Ravinder Verma joined the Governing Body in October 2013.   Mr Verma is the Vice Chair of Governors. He is chair of the Finance, Health and Safety Committee and also sits on the committee for Behaviour, Achievement and Progress. He is the link governor for Reading and monitors and evaluates this area of the curriculum to ensure high standards are maintained.  Having moved to Muxton in 2013, he has been involved in the school since his two sons started to attend Lilleshall Primary School. I believe a good primary education provides a solid foundation on which to build a child’s education and helps prepare them for a life beyond school.

Staff Governor

Governor by virtue of post

Graham Platt

"I have been a resident of Lilleshall village for over 30 years with both my children (both now well grown up) attending the school. I was a Parish councillor for eight years and am still a member of the Lilleshall Memorial Hall Management Committee. A good primary school education is, I feel, vital for children’s continuous progress into the challenging world beyond the school gates. Although now retired I spent thirty five years in the cycle industry, the last 21 running my own business. I believe this experience can be put to good use within the school".

Mrs Grass

I was appointed as a Governor in October 2015 and am very excited about taking up this new challenge. I will also sit on the Behaviour, Achievement & Progress Committee.
I have worked in adult education for a number of years and cannot stress enough the value of receiving excellent learning opportunities early on in life – something all of our children are lucky enough to benefit from at Lilleshall.
I have lived in Lilleshall for 9 years and our child attends the school but I am not only interested in her education, I am passionate about supporting and encouraging ALL of our children - I believe every child deserves the same opportunity to fulfil their future potential!
