Key Instant Recall Facts
These are the mathematical facts that we expect Year 1 children to have a good grasp of by the end of the year. I have uploaded all of the sheets so that you can pick and choose any areas or activities you would like to work on with your son/daughter.
Minute Maths
As part of our Daily Arithmetic in school we often complete Minute Maths strips. Please find below the first ten levels.
Children must score 12+ on three consecutive strips (preferably different ones) in order to move up on to the next level. Ideally they should complete the strips within 1 minute, but if needed they can be allowed longer and this can then be recorded as 'off time'.
