Mr Benn and Year 6

We had the privilege of visiting Year 6 this afternoon to listen to the stories they have written based on the television character Mr Benn. We began the session by watching an episode of the programme, then we looked at some of the outfits Year 6 had designed for their version of a story for Mr Benn. After that we spilt into small groups and Year 6 read us their stories that they had written. We were all blown away by the quality of their story writing and very much enjoyed hearing their adventure stories for Mr Benn . We all agreed it had been a lovely treat to visit Year 6 and hear their stories and we can't wait to invite them down to our class to listen to our bear stories we are currently writing for the Readers to Writers competition.
