I am excited to have the opportunity to become a Governor and work with such an outstanding school as Lilleshall Primary. We currently live outside of the local area and are fortunate enough that our daughter has been able to secure a place in Year R. As a senior business manager working for an independently-owned national company, I will be looking to use my skill set and experience to support the school wherever possible during my term. Initially I will be using my finance and management experience to reinforce the Finance and Health & Safety Committee, and I look forward to working alongside the leadership team during my time here

My role at Lilleshall includes being the Link Governor for vulnerable groups and PE.

Mrs Caroline Giles
I am privileged to have the opportunity to be a Co-opted Governor at Lilleshall Primary School. My husband and I have lived within the local area for nine years and our two children attend the school. I currently work part time in a neighbouring county as a teacher in Early Years with experience of teaching in KS1 and have been SENDCo for six years. This experience has demonstrated to me the excitement children have for learning and the importance of this passion being continued throughout the rest of their schooling, regardless of abilities. As link Governor for Progress, Achievement and Behaviour, I look forward to working with the team at Lilleshall to continue this journey for all children and to be part of developing what this amazing school has to offer.
When I’m not working and enjoying family life, I like running and have just booked my first ever marathon for next year!

I have worked in Road Safety most of my working career and currently hold the role of Principal Road Safety Education Officer at Telford & Wrekin Council. I will be using my experience in education to support the Behaviour, Achievement and Progress Committee.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed delivering workshops and initiatives to the pupils of Lilleshall Primary School and it’s clear to see that the children thrive under the warm and inspiring leadership of the teaching staff.
Outside of work I am a keen Crown Green Bowler playing in various local leagues along with representing Shropshire County.

Mrs Victoria Tait
I’m proud to be a governor at Lilleshall School. Having relocated to the area when my eldest son was in Year 2, we were fortunate to secure a place for him. As a family, we were welcomed into the Lilleshall community and have been bowled over by the quality of the teaching and supportive learning environment. I now have both boys in the school and look forward to using my experience managing a team in the private sector and previous experience as a school governor to Lilleshall.
Co-opted Governor
Appointed date: 27th September 2024
Appointed by Governors
Term of office end date: 27th September 2028
Our family have lived in Lilleshall since 2007, and I began my journey as a Parent Governor at the school in 2013. My role has evolved over time, and I am now engaged as a Co-opted Governor, with a focus on supporting the development of the school curriculum.
I have worked in an adult education environment for over 30 years and passionately believe that if every child is given the opportunity to thrive and succeed right from the first day in early years education, they will thrive and succeed throughout their lifelong learning journey.
