Lilleshall Primary School

Making Our Learning Fly

School Games Mark

We are extremely proud to have been awarded the highest award available -

Platinum in the School Games Mark, this is the third time this has been achieved (it has currently been held for six years). Together we have worked very hard to achieve this award. Through this award, children are given the opportunity to compete in a range of different sports representing Lilleshall Primary School. “The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward                                                                                                                         schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.”

September 2023 - The school has achieved Platinum Criteria for many years now but we wanted to continue moving the school forward and raising the profile of being active. We are a physical literate school and value motivation, confidence, competence, and knowledge within our curriculum offer. We would like the pupils at our school to realise and understand that regular participation in a purposeful physical pursuit can energise and enrich their lives. Developing an understanding and commitment to physical activity is an integral part of their lives we aim for them to recognise that physical activity only becomes truly valuable when undertaken on a regular basis.
