Despite the wet and windy weather (and plenty of mud), spirits remained high as Year 6 embraced the elements. Two groups set off on a scenic mountain walk, while the third group tackled an exhilarating gorge walk, navigating through fast-flowing water and rocky terrain. Later in the day, everyone ventured underground to explore the local mines. On our journey there, we passed some impressive waterfalls and beautiful woodland. We rounded off the evening with a coastal walk which was followed rather quickly with warming hot chocolates! After such an action packed day, we are certainly ready for bed!
