Welcome to Reception!

In Year R we have an exciting and fun classroom environment and a curriculum that is practical, hands on and led by the children in the class. We love to work inside and outside the classroom.

We are a class of 30 children. Our class teacher is Mrs Savill. We also have Mrs Gadsby and Mrs Hogan who are teaching assistants and an important part of our team.

For your information...

• We change our reading books once a week on a Friday. Please bring your book bag every day.
• Our PE session will be on a Friday afternoon. Please come to school in suitable PE kit for that day. Our sessions will be inside or outside at this time, weather depending.  
• Your child is welcome to bring a drink to school every day in a named drinks container. No fizzy drinks please. There is water in school for them to refill their containers.
• We provide fruit and a breadstick for your child daily. You are welcome to send in fruit for your child is they would prefer particular varieties.
