Welcome!

Hello - we are the Eco-Committee and our job is to help the planet by spreading awareness of environmental issues and doing our best to lead change. During this year, we have worked towards renewing The Green Flag Award, which we successfully achieved in 2023 and achieved the distinction award in 2024. We started by completing an Environmental Review of the different areas involved: Biodiversity, Marine, Energy, Litter, Water, Healthy Living, School Grounds, Global Citizenship, Transport and Waste. You can see our Environmental Review on this web page. We are very proud to announce that we have once again achieved the Green Flag Award with distinction for 2025!

We have also worked hard to achieve The Plastic Clever School Award. We have successfully completed all of the levels and can now say that we are a plastic clever school. 

In the next academic year, we will once again be working on maintaining our Green Flag status. We have also just begun the process to gain the RHS School Gardening Award and have submitted evidence for Level 1. Once we know the outcome of this, we will move onto the further levels next year.
