LF - To think of people who influence us and are of importance.
Welcome to our new unit of work for Spring Term 2. This half term, our key question for this enquiry will be - Is Christianity still a strong religion 2000 years after Jesus was on Earth? To answer this question, we are going to be learning to examine the influences Christianity still has in the world and evaluate whether it is still a strong religion.
Today, to meet our learning focus, Gudrun wants you to think about people who have influenced you and are important to you. Think about those that are past and present in your life; it may be someone who has sadly died but have left you with wonderful memories and maybe inspired you to do something. It could be a friend, a teacher, a grandparent or someone famous e.g. Captain Tom Moore.
What is it that you remember about them and why? Do you have special object that reminds you of them? What memories do you have together? If it is someone that is no longer with you, do you still continue to do something that you used to do together?
Gudrun would like you to list these influential characters in your life and tell us a little about each, using the questions listed above. You can choose how to present the information.
