Factor Pairs
I would like all of you to work through the first page of the main activity; if you feel confident you can move on to the second page of the main activity. If you want a challenge, move on to the problem solving and reasoning. All of the answers are there for you to check your work once you have had a go yourselves. Remember, you can watch the video linked as many times as you wish and use the video content to support you with the different question types.
I would also like you to have a look at creating factor rainbows. I have recorded an explanation of how to find factor pairs this way with an activity to follow.
Another way you can find factor pairs is by creating factor rainbows:
Have a look at the PowerPoint explanation (ensure volume is on) and then try the first page of the activity.
Challenge: Try creating factor rainbows for your own numbers.
Can you find out what a prime number is?
