Lesson 1: Rivers and Seas

1. Complete the My River Research Map with as many facts as you can. You could also include pictures.

2. Complete the Rivers and Seas Activity Sheet. Name and locate the Rivers and Seas in and surrounding the UK - you will need to use the lesson presentation and an atlas/google maps to help you. 

Lesson 2: Oceans of the world

 

1. Have a look at the Oceans of the world link below. 

2.Then complete the Seven continents and five oceans worksheet.

3. Find out about the different layers of the ocean and what creatures live in each layer.

Have a look at the second PowerPoint all about Plastic Pollution.

 

Now choose one of the following activities to complete: 

 

1.Create a leaflet advising people how they can help protect our beautiful blue planet.

2.Can You Make a Recycled Plastic Sculpture or model?

3.Design a sea creature that people’s actions are putting in danger.
Create this sea creature out of recycled plastics, to make everyone who sees it think about what harm plastic is causing.
