LF: To identify the features of a persuasive text.


This week, I would like you to write a persuasive travel brochure about Rome.

Today, we are going to have a look at an example of one and spot the key features.



1. Read through the model text.

2. Choose which worksheet to complete depending on which group you are in.

3. Identify each of these features in the text and write at least two examples of each. 



Expanded noun phrase -  grand, majestic buildings, pretty, picturesque streets.

Rhetorical questions - What are you waiting for? How would you like to experience that?
