LF: To understand the role of research in writing a newspaper report.

Newspaper articles are full of facts and information. They must include the 5 W’s: information about who is involved, where the event has taken place, why, when and what has happened. The person responsible for finding all of this information is the researcher. The researcher must collect information that is factual (true).

Your task today is to step into the shoes of a researcher and find out as many facts as you can about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD.
